What was the very first decision you made for your wedding? Was it the location, date, color scheme?? Next Question: What was the first venue you visited? Back to the Beginning: Firsts!
What was the very first decision you made for your wedding? Was it the location, date, color scheme??
The first thing we actually decided on for our wedding was actually the guest list. We both have a lot of people who we realized we felt were very important to us and want so badly to share our day with, so to us, that was the biggest deciding factor/influencing factor to the rest of our decisions (venue, food, location, etc.). I think what you decide to choose first really depends upon what is the most important for you to have at your big day (besides each other, of course!).
The date. Lol. FH said he wanted to have the wedding on the day we started dating. Unfortunately, it is a Monday and just would cause too many complications, so we opted for the day before. Second decision was the venue, though we changed it like 3 times before coming to a final decision.
It was either our date or location. We didn’t want to get married in our hometowns; we, also, knew we wanted to get married during a time that his siblings’ kids were out of school. The venue ultimately decided our date though.
Our first decision was the year, my bf daughter picked it out 2021. The year after she graduates hs and the date we picked out as a family ok..the 4 year old didn't get to pick but 2 adults and a teenager who is very excited for us to " grow up and make it official did" lol..
