What was your courthouse wedding like?

Our courtroom wedding was nice and easy. Also easy on the pocketbook. We invited close friends and relatives. We all then went out to eat. My wife and I then left for a weekend getaway honeymoon.

FH's brother and wife had a courthouse wedding. I think there were 11 people there including the couple. We all went out to dinner afterwards at a nice restaurant, and they even got a cake. As a guest, it definitely felt more intimate than a big wedding.

Not exactly courthouse, but we were married in our living room with a handful of guests. There was music, cocktails, and snacks before and after and then we went out for more food and drinks.

I absolutely adored it. The next day we were saying "we should do this every year!" because it was small, and as far as weddings go, super affordable. No ragerts. (Except maybe my skirt was too long.)

BoozyBaker I like that. Intimate and reasonably priced. For me, however, if I invite a few guests, the guest count is going to shoot right up. They won't get offended if they are not invited to a courthouse venue. Our money can go towards other things. Yours sounds great though....Beautiful indeed
