What's the standard to wear to rehearsal? Should I wear a dress?

I don't think there is a standard. It depends on the formality, and whether you're a dress person. We're having a slightly more dressed up rehearsal dinner, and I'm wearing a red dress (that I quickly fell in love with) and some sparkly heels because I want to dress up! How often do I get to be the bride you know? Smiley smile

I'd wear whatever you're comfortable wearing, depending on what sort of rehearsal dinner you're having -- if it's a fancier event, sure, wear a dress (but if it's a barbecue, maybe not).

I'm not a dress person, but recently I got a cute dress that fits me really well. I am probably going to wear that, but just wanted to know if there were ant general rules regarding this. What are the rest of you planning on wearing?

There are no rules. If it's a dinner at a nice restaurant, you wear what you would normally wear or maybe something slightly dressier (you ARE the bride, after all!). But if you were doing a hawaiian bbq rehearsal, you'd probably want everyone to wear hawaiian shirts. Smiley smile It's really venue-dependent, and not event-dependent. Some people prefer to go with a rehearsal dinner of opposite formality from the wedding (i.e. fancy wedding, casual RD).

That being said, mine's so far out I have no idea what I'll be wearing to mine. Smiley laugh

Ours is very laid back, at a park and we'll be barbecueing dinner...so I'll probably just wear comfy capris and dressy tank. FH will most likely be in jeans and tshirt...

I'll be in a white dress of some kind. I plan to wear white/off white to all wedding-related functions, but that's just me.

I am dressing to the 9s.

New outfit, head to toe. Going all out because that's what I love to do.

Not sure on colors or anything yet, but my wedding isn't until November.

I think we are doing Italian for the rehearsal dinner. I am wearing a simple floral dress. Pastel pumps.
