Vanessa <3

Ben and Vanessa met their freshman year at Purdue University. A mutual friend introduced them. They had been good friends since then. During the next two years of college, Ben and Vanessa had thought about being more than friends, but were unsure, but eventually the two started dating in September of their Junior year. Since then, Ben and Vanessa have been very happy together. When Vanessa graduated in 2010 from Purdue, they were forced to spend the year apart while she was working in her hometown and he was finishing school. But as of August 2011, the two moved to Piedmont, near Oakland, California. There they share a home with their cats, Mulan and Nala, while Ben attends UC Berkeley and Vanessa studies at Carrington College California. Ben proposed to Vanessa at Midnight of New Year's 2011. She had been expecting it, partially because that New Year's Eve Day, Ben had given her a set of 12 clues for her to figure out what the second part of her Christmas present would be. Ben and Vanessa will marry on May 25, 2013 in Vanessa's hometown area. May 25 is designated as Geek Pride Day, and the two look forward to displaying some geek pride at their wedding!
