I’m not sure what to do. I’m in the beginning stages of planning my wedding. I got married in 2015 had a traditional wedding and got divorced in 2018. This time around I’m having a small wedding (20-25 people). I really want a simple dress and actually found a bridesmaid dress I love and can get it in ivory! Has anyone else done something similar? Thanks!

One of my friends picked a bridesmaids dress as her wedding dress. Way cheaper than a gown designated as bridal, and the dresses can be just as pretty!

I think it’s absolutely perfect.
My best friend’s wedding dress was a white bridesmaids dress. She and her now hubby eloped and saved their money for a dream honeymoon in Paris. She looked absolutely stunning. And my wedding dress is from the same White by Vera Wang line!

I’ve been married before and we’re having a small wedding around the same size as you. However, I still want to feel like a bride lol so I am going out on the dress.
I think you’re dress you picked is gorgeous. It goesn’t scream bride but if that’s what you’re going for, something a little understated or what have you I think it’s perfect. In fact I went to a wedding recently where the bride wore a blush pink Bridesmaids dress and it was gorgeous. You do you!
