What time for a light lunch reception?

The wedding is one year away so we are still throwing around ideas, but I'm so ready to just know what we're doing already! haha.. What time do you all think would be acceptable for a light lunch reception to begin? We originally wanted the reception to begin at 2, but I think that is too late for lunch..

What is included in the light lunch? I would say 1 or 2 depending on what time your ceremony is at.

We're thinking chicken salad croissants, salads, and appetizers.

I think 1 or 2 would be fine. If you'll be serving a variety of appetizers, I'm sure that would be fine.

I think if you started the ceremony at 11:30 or noon, and serve lunch around 12:15, 12:30, that would be great. By 2, I'd be very hungry and I'd want a substantial lunch.

I agree with Fluffy. Or a little later, so people actually eat lunch and then you do a snack.

I want a 12:00 ceremony but the only people on board with that are my dad and fiance. Sisters, mom, and MIL think it's too early to get ready on time.
