What time do you, personally, eat dinner?

Our wedding is planned to be at 7pm. Should we were a meal or snack and finger foods along with cake and sweets?

I personally eat dinner around 5:00-6:00pm. Dinner will start at 5:30pm for our wedding.

We honestly eat dinner pretty late, usually somewhere between 7-9.

We eat around 6, but if I am going to a wedding at 7, I would expect a full meal

I get off work at 6, so usually by 6:30-7 I eat dinner. But, I don't eat meals past 7:30. So you should serve dinner, but don't wait too late.

I think most guests would have eaten before arriving to your wedding. You could have like a welcome party at 6pm with light passed appetizers. Good way for guests to meet each other.

Nope Noni, if I have to be at a wedding by 7pm will have likely started to get ready between 4 and 5 so I can leave between 5:30 and 6. And 4pm is wayyy to early for me to eat dinner.

Negative @Noni. Guests have to get themselves together and travel to the wedding. Exactly when are they supposed to eat? smfh

My brother got married on New Years Eve which was a Thursday that year and the wedding itself was around 6 and then dinner was like 7:30. They knew people would want to stay until midnight so they chose a little later to eat, but typically I eat dinner around 6. If it's a later wedding people know to have a big lunch or eat something small before they come I would think

I went to a wedding last Sunday that started at 5 and dinner came out late and I didn't get fed until 7:30. I was NOT happy. That's too late to eat dinner. They had a chip bar and let's just say we raided it prior to dinner.
