What should i do if my husband to be has the first name of his ex tattooed ?

Me and my fiance have been dating for 5 years now and we recently made a dicision to get married, he had popped the question. but he has a massive tattoo of his ex on his shoulder and i have been telling him to get it removed but he has been holding it up saying that he will get it done when he saves up or when he has time. He also told me not to worry about it as it does not signify anything to him anymore and that he was young and really dumb to have made that mistake. But whatever he says i don't get full satisfaction as i am always thinking, does he even mean whatever he is saying or like it must signify something to him. him and his ex dated for 2 years. Please help me as i want to know what i should say to him or ask him. Our wedding is coming up in 2 months and im really frustrated.

Yeah this isn't a simple errand. It's not like he hasn't gotten around to picking up the dry cleaning or something like that. It's not just the money, it's more painful than getting a tattoo and the skin often doesn't look great afterwards. I vote can he turn the word in to something else? I saw this movie where the leading lady tattooed Ted on her butt and after he cheated on her she changed it to HaTed. He knows it was a mistake. I think it's on you to get over it or get out.

Well, to be honest, if my boyfriend have a tattoo of his former girlfriend or wife's name on his neck or shoulder or whatever then i wouldn't bother it since it was all in his past. if i have my ex boyfriend's name on my tattoo shoulder then he should understand that it's all in the past which i totally regret it. why are you feeling so insecure when your fiancé had a tattoo on his former girlfriend's name? i'm not telling you to grow up. just understand that he regret his tattoo when he had a former girlfriend so don't worry about everything so move on and focus on forward to your wedding!
