What should bridmaid wear while getting ready on day of wedding?

I had shirts made and will also be purchasing robes to wear while getting hair and makeup done

We did flannels but we are getting ready at the salon and then will go to the hotel to get dresses so it's something they can wear outside while still being able to unbutton so they don't mess up their hair.

I got my MOH (my only attendant) a pretty robe to get ready in. That is not part of her attendant gift, though. Props should never be included in the gift.

What they want?

You could have them wear matching pjs or whatever but that'd be an added expense for you.

I just told my girls to wear something that buttons or zips and reminded them that there will be pictures taken. lol

All my bridesmaids are wearing robes. They are all so excited to not have to worry about forgetting to pack something that will ruin their hair! I am excited for the cute pictures too.

We bought inexpensive men's shirts from Amazon and my mom put the ladies initials on the pocket. Then they wore shorts or yoga pants on bottom. They turned out so cute!

I'll probably either do robes with shorts or light men's button ups. If you're getting them as a gift, don't get anything that says "bridesmaid" or anything. They probably won't wear them again.

I got robes. Longer ones, not monogramed, with peacocks on them, black for the BMs and pink for me. I know they may never use them again, but really, they were $10 each and I just wanted them for pics. I told them they don't have to wear them, I just wanted to get a pic or two, but they all actually wanted to, so I am happy with that.

We'll probably do flannels and leggings. It's something I know all my bridesmaids would be comfortable in/wear again.
