What online store to buy your wedding dress from?

My friend bought her dress & all her bridesmaids bought from Azazie.

Yes. Azazie has simple wedding dresses. David Bridal also have them. Some department stores sells white dresses and they are just like wedding dresses to me, just no train.

Lulus has a good selection now as well and are great about returns.

I second the previous posters on both Azazie and Lulus. I actually bought my main wedding dress off Azazie (had a similar planning time frame for my wedding as you do) and my after-official-wedding dress for a night out in town from Lulus.


You can do custom sizing with Azazie (which I did and it fits like a glove) and utilise their try-at-home option. Though they didn’t have many dresses for that in stock. Production time takes about 8 weeks, so you need to keep that in mind.

Azazie for sure but try Etsy too! I just purchased a stunning custom made dress that replicates a $5k Pronovias minimalist design for $300 bucks. I haven't had it made yet but the process has been excellent so far and she has tons of 5 star reviews with pictures. I was going to buy a Light In The Box dress and got terrified after seeing some AWFUL reviews. Beware of knock off Chinese sites. I chose Etsy because it's basically a peer reviewed website and they don't allow crap sellers. You could try Amazon too if you're after something simple, just make sure that you're looking at where it's shipped from and that it has free returns or exchanges in case it has defects or is the wrong size.

I would recommend BHLDN- you can order online, they even do online appointments, but you're also able to return dresses which is really rare in this industry. The sale section has some really awesome deals!

Lulu’s would be a great option, because you can order right away and it get to you right away, so if you don’t like the dress there is plenty of time for a return! Azazie is great too, but their dress time takes 8 weeks to process more or less. So it’d be cutting it really close, especially if you ended up not liking it!

BHLDN! Very much legit and fast shipping. As long as it's not clearanced you can return, but the clearance dresses are a great deal too. I bought a dress that was reduced from 1200 to 200 and it came in two weeks and was GORGEOUS, it looked delicate and expensive.

You could also check out local boutiques that carry off the rack and consignment dresses! I bought a sample gown from a small boutique...it'll require just a few alterations but otherwise fits perfectly! I get it in 2 weeks after it is dry cleaned.
