What kind of paint to use for aisle runner/vintage wedding signs?

Former MDLS now Mrs. K, on June 18, 2010 at 11:30 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

Okay, I've never been a crafty/diy person until now so I don't know what kind of paint to use to make our aisle runner. Also, can anyone tell me what kind of paint to use to paint some wood. I'm trying to make some vintage-type wedding signs and can I find this wood at Hobby Lobby? TIA!!

Yep Hobby Lobby sells it all and most likely they can lead you right to the paint you want, for the isle runner it kind of depends on what material you are using.

If you use a crackle glaze under the paint it comes off vintage when finished.

Ahhh, Crackle glaze. I am going to have to look into this. My DIY brain just flicked on a switch.
