I didn't really know anything about different designers/brands before I planned my wedding. But I did garner some favorites while researching.. Maggie Sottero, Sohpia Tolli, Mori Lee.

I bought a Sophia Tolli gown. She doesn't specifically make "plus size gowns", but all her gowns are available up to size 28 or 30 I think. And I thought the quality of her gowns was amazing, and the designs flattering to all body types.

Mori Lee. Great for all brides, but I thought they were particularly flattering for my plus size shape. And a great price too!

I was OBSESSED with Maggie and was actually at a Maggie trunk show when I found my Casablanca dress

I tried on several Maggies but I wasn't in love with them. The Maggie I had my heart set on, wasn't available any where near me and I didn't want the risk of purchasing a dress before trying it on.

I literally don't know. I didn't think to ask when I tried it. On. I saw "Vera" on the order form, so I thought it was Vera wang. At my fitting, I saw the tag said "style: Vera" and something about essence. But I don't think it was essence of Australia. I haven't been able to find it online
