What is the most stressful part of your planning process?

For me it was finding table centerpieces that weren't crazy expensive. Smiley ups

Okay, figure out what you need/want as far as decor and 💐s.

Then, determine what you can realistically complete via diy.

    We are here to help.

Please continue to reach out if you get stumped on something.

    Congratulations and 🍀‼️

Finding rental throne chairs that aren't $400+ for a couple hours. You can buy them for $1200 each and own them forever! They don't need to charge so much DX

You have almost a year to pull this together.

PS: My Mom was a “Jackie” and 👸of diy.

I refuse to believe that you can’t come up with a few projects.

So far for me it has been trying to get my fiance to tell his parents to back off. They are very pushy trying to have things done their way or on their terms, but MY parents are PAYING??? My FMIL every time I see her, tells me how I should do this or what I should do for that. It's actually driving me insane and we have only been planning for 2.5 months now and I'm going to lose my noodle if he doesn't say something this weekend like he said. I've done it the polite way, and I told him he's going to have to do it the stern way because he said that's all that works with her. Wish me luck ladies lol.

Most stressful for me has been trying to please everyone. I know it’s my wedding and it doesn’t matter and blah blah blah. But my mom is very traditional so any of my ideas that aren’t traditional she gets short and changes the subject. For example, donuts instead of a cake or a flower crown instead of a veil. I want my mom to have a part in the planning and it’s stressful when she doesn’t agree with my non traditional ideas. Sometimes I wish she would just fake it

I just started but I have to say finding a venue and trying to secure it for a fall date was stressful because I felt like it was a race LOL all the fall dates next year were going by so fast.

Everything for me has been stressful. I haven't enjoyed the planning process at all, everything has been a headache. My dad has caused most of my stress, hes paying for everything and offered but every time I've brought something up to him he refuses to listen to me. Its been rough, I hope the day comes together nicely.

I know the feeling. I originally wanted the date 10.10.20 but I had to learn to be flexible if I wanted to be married in the fall lol

Same here! I wanted 10/10/2020, but everywhere was getting booked so fast. Ended up with 10/24...finding a venue was the most stressful so far.

Mine is making the guest list under 100 due to venue size and personal choice. Not all extended family will be invited. We never even talk to them but it will still cause drama. Oh well, our wedding our decision!

I agree. deciding who makes the cut is stressful because you don't want any hard feelings.

Finding a local seamstress was a tough part! DB wanted $150 for a simple hem, but I finally found a local seamstress who did it for $70
