What is the average people spend on a wedding shower gift?

$50-$100 I would think is average.

It really depends. It depends on the bride/groom and how close I am. With family I spend $30 but that is for materials and I make them a blanket in their wedding colors. It is a thoughtful gift so I don't feel bad about spending less. It also depends on my finances at the time.

I said no gifts but people gave me things/money ranging from $25-$100
