What goes with color purple?

My former colors was gold, purple and blue. Purple is a great color

Depends on the shade of purple. i've seen some lovely purple w/ blue, purple w/ red, purple w/ green. Also the neutrals: brown, silver, grey, black, white. Really just depends on the look you want and shades.

I think silver would look nice, and I'm sure there are others that would go well, I'm just not thinking of any at the moment.

FH and I are having purple and charcoal/slate gray as our colors.

I love purple and my colors were originally purple and silver/white cuz FH didn't care but then he changed his mind and his favorite color is green. So I changed my colors to purple and green. In the beginning i thought they wouldn't go nice together but then I found a really nice green to go with the purple

Purple and orange is so pretty together!!

Mine are dark purple with a fun green color, almost exactly like what TeeDub posted!

Red or of a red-ish hue always compliments purple.

My flowers are silk,but there are alot of purples and ivory/white and she threw in lots of wildflower type pieces to make it look more natural I guess.I like my flowers,but not everyone likes silk.....

I wish Carmen were on here, she had a lilac color I believe paired with a mint green color and they looked so beautiful together!!

Believe it or not, purple is actaully a neutral, It goes with everything. It reall depends on the shade of purple though.

My colors are royal purple, chocolate and ivory. I think it depends on the shade of purple and time of year for what would go together.

Purple goes with just about anything. A deep eggplant goes well with a navy, or a burgundy.

A royal purple goes with blue.

A lilac can look very pretty with a pale blue, a mint/sage green or pink.

I would avoid oranges though. I woudl stay away from yellow because when I think purple and yellow- I think bad high school cheerleading uniforms.

But what about just simple black, white and purple with a gold or silver to accent it?
