What do you think

My wedding is Friday October 23 2020 , so i was wondering a few details for the wedding day. I am thinking of starting a full catholic wedding mass at 2:30pm or 3pm. I figure the church mass wpuld take an hour and there is the recieving line and pictures at the church. ( inviting 250 ppl but not sure how many are going to RSVP yes). We want to start cocktail hour at 6:30pm.. the church to the reception hall takes about 30mins without traffic. I know sunset is around 6:15-6:30pm . What time do you recommend starting church?

Did you want to take photos before the ceremony? Or did you want all your photos after?

I would definitely say start as early as possible (considering most Catholic ceremonies/mass last about an hour). If you want time for cocktail hour, the receiving line, travel to the venue for 30 minutes you’ve gotta do the math. I would also consult with your photographer about how much time they will need to do photos in between and I hope your church will allow you to do them there 😊
