Today my co-worker asked me, "What is the one thing you want your guests to remember about your wedding?" I realize most of us have a hard time narrowing down answers like this to just one thing so I don't care about that. I'm just curious to see what means the very most to other people. And, yeah,...

Today my co-worker asked me, "What is the one thing you want your guests to remember about your wedding?" I realize most of us have a hard time narrowing down answers like this to just one thing so I don't care about that. I'm just curious to see what means the very most to other people. And, yeah, I get that you want your guests to see how happy and in love you are. lol But what is it about the wedding/reception itself that you really hope people remember for years to come?

That I have never looked more beautiful...that we did a damn good job of doing the wedding planning by ourselves that it looks better than a pro. and also that they had fun and how much we love each other!!!

How much fun they had and that it wasn't the "typical" wedding! I'm pretty much the last of my friends to get married, and I want to go out with a "BANG!" Smiley smile

That I ROCKED the sh*t out of my cocktail length gown. That this is the first wedding they've been to where flip cup and horseshoes were played.

I hope everyone remembers just how different and unique it was. Seriously, with Town Criers, fairy flower girls, and a belly dancing bridal party, they may have sensory overload...lol.

The extent to which our wedding was a community celebration, not just a show put on by us.

Survey Says! After the wedding is over...

72% of all brides say they would have spent more time choosing their reception entertainment.

Almost 100% say they would have spent more of their budget on the entertainment.

During wedding planning, brides say their highest priority is their attire, followed by the reception site and caterer - reception entertainment is among the least of their priorities. Yet, within one week after their reception, 78% say they would have made the entertainment their highest priority.

When asked, 81% of guests say what they remember most about a wedding is the entertainment.

65% of all couples that chose a band to entertain at their wedding said, if they had it to do over again, they would have chosen a disc jockey.

Entertainment is often only 5% of the Wedding Budget, but TWICE as many guests will remember the entertainment more than anything else.

My venue! But there is no way they are gonna forget it anyway. They will either LOVE it or HATE it. There really wont be a middle ground on that. Either way they will remember that the whole day was planned around what FH and I like. They will remember that it was truly our personalities that were showing. No offense to anyone but a reg old wedding isn't for us that is why we are doing the venue. No one around here thinks we are sane!

A beautiful and unique floral arrangement would be the one thing that people remember for years. I hope everyone remembers just how different and unique it was.
