What do you do at an engagement party?

Hey there! We are planning our engagement party in a few weeks and I have no idea what we should do during the party. The theme is ‘Let’s Taco bout a Wedding’ and we are having it in the private dining room of a local Mexican restaurant and serving a taco bar and nacho bar. I know we will eat and drink lol. But do we play games? Just mingle? Any help is appreciated!

    Some people play games. You know your crowd; I didn’t personally play games at mine. We just mingled, talked and listened to music.

    I think games can be fun in certain crowds... not mine lol

    We just introduced our families to each other and mingled. It was super relaxed. There was background music and food/dessert the entire time. We also had smores and campfires at the end of the night.

    Our families just mingled and ate/drank. My mom did make a small toast to thank everyone for coming because my parents hosted but other than that people managed to mingle on their own.

    We had dinner, danced, and did some toasts. All in my fiancé’s parents backyard. It was beautiful and fun
