I am going to speak with some florists today i was originally going to DIY my bouquet and have my BM carrying lanterns I am just wondering on cost l am now weighing all my options when it comes to my flowers real vs fake, should the entire party carry flowers, is the stress of making them worth it...

I was quoted at $80 for mine, $50 for each bridesmaid and $40 per centerpiece. We're sticking with all in season flowers (hydrangeas, dahlias, peonies, roses for a fall wedding), but I've been told that this price is extremely low compared to other florists. We were referred to her by our venue, she does almost every wedding they hold. I was getting really nervous about the cost of flowers until I got my quote

As much as I adore real flowers, and I mean, LOVE them. We are going with fake silk flowers. I'm making all of the bouquets and bouts, centerpieces, ect. myself. It will all be ready by wedding time, so no stress. All flowers were purchased 50%. At least now I can use the flowers elsewhere in arrangements. We went to a wedding this past October that had real flowers and at the end of the night at clean up they were being tossed in the trash. Made me sick! Thousands of dollars down the drain.

Mine is $125, for locally grown in-season flowers. My florist actually owns a flower farm, which is where she sources all her flowers. Bout is $15. ETA: I was quoted $125 to $250 for the same inspo pics.

Mine is $180 for a version of the one pictured, with some blush/peach rose accents. no clue what a normal price is, tbh.

$300 for mine, including the ribbons hanging down and $125 for my bridesmaids.

This is very dependent on your flower type, location, season, caliber of florist, etc. My bouquet was roses, hydrangeas, and delphinium blossoms and cost $80. My BM bouquets were larger than typical because we repurposed them as our low centerpieces. They were hydrangeas, delphinium blossoms, and baby's breath and were $45/ea.

All of these numbers are making me rethink the florist I thought I wanted to use! Luckily no deposits placed. For roses, spray roses and stock my bouquet is 290! And bridesmaids are 85...I asked about using anemones, dahlias, and etc and they said $290 is the least expensive...how many flowers did you have in your bouquet? Maybe I'll have to ask how big this will be!

I'm in Orlando and the florist I'm using me quoted $185 for Juliette garden roses, Anemones, Hypericum berries and Hydrangeas for bridal bouquet and $75 each for BMs White hydrangeas and coral roses.

Groom is an anemone with berries for $15 and GM are spray roses and baby's breath for $10.

@Ceci, what are your colors? I never realized how much of a difference that can make until my florist mentioned offhand she had ordered bright purple hydrangeas for $13 a stem for a recent wedding. Brightly colored dahlias and roses will definitely be more than neutral ones.

That said, I am in Philly too and my bouquet will be $250 for something very simple without exotic flowers, so the location definitely drives up the cost.
