According to my mother-in-law I climbed up 4 flights of stairs on my hands and knees, then passed out in the bathroom floor. Talk about an exit!

I've seen bubbles and confetti at weddings I've been to! Both of them worked out nicely Smiley smile

I'm wanting to do a sparkler sendoff but if I can't for whatever reason I'll do bubbles.

We can't do sparklers, so we are planning on staying until the very end. But I love the idea of bubbles for a ceremony exit!

We're doing glow sticks, the 22" necklace ones. This is one of the things FH is most excited about!

I considered doing little bells. I saw it on Pinterest, it's like 3 silver or gold bells tied together with ribbon. then I realized I have to coordinate when to give them out so I don't hear bells through the whole reception.

Eco-glitter may be the way to go for us.

I'm thinking about dried flowers (cut up so like flower confetti) as our grand exit after the ceremony.

We did confetti...specifically the 1" round metallic confetti so that the light would reflect off of it nicely. I bought it in bulk...a mixture of silver and iridescent...and packaged handfuls in small square glassine bags that I sealed with a custom label that I had made from an etsy seller. Towards the end of the reception, a couple of the BMs passed them out to guests and the DJ announced for everyone to line up on either side from the inside all the way out to the limo. It was really fun!

We went to a wedding last April where they gave everyone those sparkly little pom pom things. The pictures were fun and it didn't make a mess.

Just a heads up to the brides using bubbles - I've read that the glycerin in bubbles stain fabrics made of silk and satin so you may either need to use stain free bubbles or no bubbles at all.

We are doing sparklers. They will be set out on the dance floor throughout the night and then those still there for the exit will be given more.

We're probably doing one at the end of the ceremony - bubbles or petals. At the end of the reception we get to drive off in a little golf cart, which will be decorated. But no big choreographed thing where guests have to participate. I know after a long day of talking, eating, drinking and dancing, the last thing I want to do as a guest is be corralled into some staged 'grand exit' involving fire and other drunk guests....

We did our grand exit after the ceremony since all of our guests and photographers would be there. We used biodegradable snow since it was a December wedding.

We only had a grand entrance, into our reception ballroom. Our venue was a hotel, so we merely went up to our suite, and an after party, after the reception ended.

I've been to two with sparkler exits, and I had trouble getting the smell of those sparklers out of my nose. One was in an area where a brush fire took out a cul de sac of homes, a week before; I really wondered why it was allowed?

As my sister's friend said, after she bought sparklers, for her daughter's wedding "What was I thinking? There was a bunch of drunks running around the parking lot, with fire."
