We are doing it on Saturday. Yes- you pay a bit more for a saturday night party for the venue, but for us it is worth it. We are having guests from out of town join us and they couldn't make it during the week. We are also have 150 guests. I think weekday weddings could work easier for small groups. We are also hoping for our wedding to be a big party....lots of drinking. People tend to shy away from this during the week because they have to work the next day usually. This will also mean the party ends early. If you are looking for an early, low-key, smaller wedding, a weekday could be alright- as long as your guests can make it. Otherwise, I would recommend a weekend night.
Getting married on Sunday. Mainly because our venue was already book out more than a year in advance. It turned out to be less expensive and easier to book vendors.
We are getting married on a Saturday like the norm, however traditional we are not! Lots of D.y.i. My dress is by no means the “ standard” wedding dress as this isn’t either of our first rodeos. Lol. However we are both in our 40 and haven’t been married in over 18 years so a fresh start for us both! On the beach at sunset!
We're doing Sunday because the date is perfect for us and luckily it saved us about $40-50 per person because the day and the fact its considered off season
