We considered other days, but Saturday made the most sense regarding our guest list. My whole family lives in another state, so I felt awful asking them all to take time off work for the big day!

Unconventional here and going with Tuesday! We'll be tying the knot on our 8th anniversary. I know a lot of people won't come/will leave early, but that's alright. Good news I wasn't aware of when we picked the date though - the day before the wedding is labor day, so that increases the chances of long distance loved ones coming.
