What color did you wear to your bridal shower?

Summerbridejen, on March 13, 2015 at 11:14 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15

I had bought a white dress and wasn't thrilled and then landed up buying a deep purple dress...does most wear white to the bridal shower? I just hope the purple is "special" enough". My wedding color is lavender/purple.

I think I wore jeans and a sweater, lol. It doesn't matter. Wear something you love!

My shower is sunday, I am on very limited time lol...I was going to stop quick after work. I thought I wanted black and white but now I have no idea.

I don't plan on wearing white either. My colors are also purple/lavender. This is what i'm thinking of wearing. It's a bridesmaid dress

I'm not wearing white for my shower. I'm supposed to be wearing pink dress so I don't think you necessarily need to wear white. I'm wearing white for the bachelorette party, though.

I am not wearing white. I'm wearing either floral or blush pink. Saving white for the actual wedding day seems more special to me.

My RD and wedding dress are both blush so I'd like to wear something cream/ivory for the BS.

Jessica, that is super cute! Where's it from?

ETA: Oh, and I don't know what color I'm wearing to my shower (it's only 2 weeks away!), but it won't be white. I'm between three different outfits I already own.

My mom just finished having her wedding dress altered so I am planning on wearing that! We took of the 80s sleeves and the ruffle at the bottom of the skirt so now it hits just below the knee. Trying it on tomorrow to see if the straps are now a better fit (They were too short before but otherwise the dress fit great).

My shower was this past Sunday. This is what I wore. It was like an off white.

I was going to wear white but then I found this black and gold dress that I fell in love with so I'll be wearing that! It doesn't go with my wedding colors really but I just HAD to have the dress!!

I was going to wear just plain white but I couldn't find a slip to go under the dress. So I wore this to our co-ed family shower.
