What are your GROOMS' must haves?

seriously I'm not even joking.

No pink, square cake and stay on budget and no religon at all. Pretty easy list for me to stick too. I try and run everything else by him but he doesn't seem to care too much.

Good food, Good music and Open bar are my FH's must haves!

Food and alcohol. He kind of had an opinion about what the grooms would wear but then he stood silent when we were at the suit rental place, which was annoying.

He was very involved in the beginning... Now he just wants me to run things by him before they are finalized but a few things on the list:

No garter toss

He picks his and all the groomsmen's suits, ties and so forth.

He has say in the cake.

Cognac must be available before the wedding to calm his nerves. LOL

1. A good playlist- late 90's/early 2000's hip hop (I agree!)

2. Navy suits for him and the groomsmen (I agree!)

3. Videography (I agree!)

He's been a joy to plan with.

He wants me to walk down to the traditional bridal march song. Also that I stop using the word "fancy" and use "elegant" instead. Lol! Other than that, his must have is a happy me!

He wants a groom's cake and he wants to be able to pull off my garter during the wedding. But with no garter toss... Yay!

Friends, family, food, and football... The first three were easily, but we had to get creative with football. We decided to have a really laid back rehearsal, where the guys can play football, and we will throw the garter on a football.

Most of his are photography related (since he does photography). He was VERY picky about the photographer, but really easy going with other things. Everything he wants I want also so I don't really know who came up with what anymore. One thing though is that he wants a picture of him holding his big fancy camera on our wedding day. And he wants cocktail hour to last longer to get more pictures. He also wanted to find a photographer that would give him the raw files (with all the post processing changes, which meant a specific file format) so that if he wanted to change anything he could. I didn't think we'd find one but we found a cool guy who will do that. We'll see if there are any other requests in the future!

My FH was really picky about the music, the food and the cake, he was involved in other decisions, but mostly I have him and few choices and he either gave his opinion or said "whatever you like, honey"

Open bar for his family although neither one of us drinks. His family will have conniption fits if we don't.

The DJ has to know how to run a party. He has to pick the DJ.

The food has to be fabulous. Anything less and we will be talked about at my family gatherings. LOL!

Stay on budget!

My FH was very happy with all details so far but his must haves:

1) no first look - wanted to see me at the church aisle for the first time

2) great food with steak for sure!

3) a boutonniere charm in memory of his grandparents (I've taken care of that as part of his wedding day present!)

FH wanted the bouquet and garter toss too!!! (Ugh).

He also REALLY wanted all of the celtic banners that come with our hall to be put up. This is a photo of our venue with a different wedding. My mom didn't, but then he said "But your mom got to pick the colour of the table cloths!" so I said, "Ok, fine". So it looks like we're having random banners hanging off the columns (Edit: you can see a few of them hanging there)

Sneaker cake and most of all me happy :-)

To wear his boots the whole night and hat for everything besides indoor pictures/ceremony.

Everything else he said, "Baby the details don't matter to me. Whatever you want. I just want to make you my wife, so I'm getting everything I want."

He really doesn't care about much. His big thing was no first look. He also doesn't want to see the dress before I am walking down the aisle. Also, cake. his cake was very important to him!
