What are your cake flavors?

A dessert and bakery chain started by Christina Tosi! (She's one of the judges on Master Chef Junior) lol

We are doing three layers, the bottom is traditional almond, the second is marble (chocolate and vanilla I think?) and the top is lemon!

We are doing a simple regular sized cheesecake for cutting and individual mini cheesecakes for our guests! I personally can not stand cake but for some reason love cheesecake so it was an easy decision for us

FH and I really don't like cake. We are picky about sweets in general so we took a non-traditional approach. We are doing donuts instead. We will buy a small cake just for cutting purposes but our main dessert will be the donuts. Its a donut bar so we are doing :

150 donuts

Icing choices:

Chocolate, vanilla and caramel

Toppings:

Fruity Pebbles, mini m&ms, Butterfinger, cinnamon/sugar, sprinkles and Golden Grahams

Sauces:

Marshmallow, peanut butter and chocolate espresso

Our cake is 2 layers - top layer is Lemon with a vanilla butter cream filing, and bottom layer is a vanilla cake with a fresh strawberry and vanilla butter cream filing.

Cupcakes will be 1 dozen Strawberry and 1 dozen Chocolate for sure. I am still trying to decide on 2 more flavors for the other 2 dozen.

We are doing a layered cheese cake and red velvet cake!!

We are doing New York cheesecake with mini plain cheesecakes and nutella cheesecakes. We are also having 100 donuts in glazed, sugar, chocolate frosted. buttercrunch, lemon filled, and some gluten free!

Most likely going to go with chocolate. That is my fiance's favorite flavor. But, we are going with cupcakes because of the reception being a BBQ with a mini carnival.

Some are more bold, some are more traditional, some are an odd mix of both. FH and I did a whole big thing with cake tasting. I love to bake and my sons god mother will be baking our cake so we tried a whole gaggle of flavors and narrowed it down to these 5.

- pina colada w/buttercream filling

- guava w/guava buttercream filling

- rum cake w/dulce de leche buttercream filling

We are having a three tier cake with the bottom being almond, the middle is peanut butter chocolate and the top is maple bacon. We wanted to have some fun flavors in it but wanted at least one tier that was a little more on the normal side for any guest that want something more traditional/ simple. I am super excited for the maple bacon though lol

Since we're getting married in October we wanted something to go with the season. So we decided on an apple cider cake, with a vanilla mouse and maple bourbon buttercream. it's delicious.

We're doing 4 tiers. One tier with fresh strawberry filling, one with lemon filling, one with raspberry filling, and another with classic white/vanilla filling. The entire cake will be frosted with wedding cream cheese frosting. Its 80% cream cheese and 20% buttercream frosting! The best mixture ever

It's marble with "better than buttercream" frosting. the flowers will be more purple than pink

I went basic although I love cake but I wanted to accommodate my FH's likes. So, I we have three layers: Strawberry - bottom (for him), pina colada - middle, and lemon top (for me!). The cake is vanilla with vanilla buttercream frosting.

So our flavors have now changed. We are having a couples cutting cake and three deserts.

Cake: pink champagne with honey lavender buttercream

Desserts: Shots-vanilla cake with raspberry jam and peanut butter buttercream, New York cheesecake bites, and dipped pretzel sticks.
