What do you have planned for your wedding ceremony? Are you going to do a unity ceremony, have readings or any songs? Are you including your children in a special way, or taking a moment to honor loved ones?

We are doing some biblical readings and plan on doing a foot washing ceremony. Other than that, just the normal vows and I do's.

We are just doing a simple ceremony, quick and short. We may have a reading, but we aren't sure yet.

We're going to have a unity candle, we're going to have a memorial poem for those we've lost & their names will be read. We're going to say traditional vows, but also our own

We will be doing a bible reading at the beginning, we will be doing a Spanish poem blessing, a unity braiding ceremony, and a family prayer. We are also doing our own vows but had planned that originally.

I have 5 bridesmaids and he has 5 groomsmen. They'll walk down the isle together. Then I have my 2 flower girls, my niece and my daughter. They will walk together with my junior bridesmaid. Then as I walk down the isle, my brother (who is a groomsmen) and one of the other groomsmen will play acoustic guitar; the song Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley. On my bouquet, I will carry 2 small pictures of my grandmothers who are no longer with us. My soon to be hubby will wear a pin with a small picture of his grandfather who is also no longer with us. I could go on and on! I thought of every single little detail. Smiley heart

We are having a Spice of Life ceremony. My fiance and I will be add salt for purity to start the ceremony. Then, chosen family and close friends will add preselected spices to add their blessing to our union. To finish, my fiance and I will end with more salt. The spices added to the jar will actually make our own custom cooking spice rub mix that will last us all year. For our guests enjoyment, we are adding our spice mix recipe to the back of the program 💗

We have 2 readings, a hand fasting ceremony, and then are doing a rose ceremony at the end. The rose ceremony is where after our vows and we are pronounced husband and wife, we exchange a rose as our first gift to each other. But we then take it a step further and present them to our mothers as gifts for raising us and being there. Pur ceremony is 100% completely us, and I am so excited about it!!!

We included a ring warming ceremony in ours. I really liked the idea of love and prayers from all of our friends and family being a part of our commitment to each other every day.
