Welcome table help?

Elissa, on December 8, 2017 at 2:22 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 9

Did anyone do a welcome table or table for your guest book with your picture and decorations? I'm trying to come up with ideas for my beach wedding in April. Can you post pics? thanks!

Have you tried Pinterest? So many ideas available on that site.

I think it's a great idea. I have seen people have an entire table with pictures when the couple was younger, engagement pictures, sign in book and pictures of loved ones who are deceased but would have been there if they were alive. I think it's a great addition. Plus, you will always have the book with people that signed as memorabilia.

Yes, I've looked on Pinterest, just trying to get ideas and wondered what people have actually done.....my fiancé is from Cuba and doesn't have a lot of baby pictures.....I will have our engagement photo......and I thought of decorating large initials.....just not sure yet......

Just be cognizant of the fact that if you display a lot of photos on the guestbook table, it is going to slow down the entry of your guests to the reception.

I'm using a watercolor/ocean theme with gold starfishes. The colors are turquoise, aqua and gold. I've attached a picture with the actual picture of the ceremony location and the brides dress etc.

Look up 'thumbprint wedding guest book' there are so many different versions of this idea. There are some really cute ones you could use with a beach theme. And the best part is that you can frame it and hang it on the wall instead of in a book that you keep in a box in your attic.

I wouldn't do the fingerprint guestbook. They smudge and turn out really messy. Plus then guests will have ink on their hands the rest of the night.

I didn't do photos, but this was our guestbook table. We had our seating chart right next to it.
