Weddings that required masks - how was it?

I attended a wedding last weekend that required masks unless we were seated at our table. It honestly was still nice. It was very mellow, no dancing. Not ideal, but the bride was still able to get beautiful photos and have her day. I think she is super relieved that it’s all behind her. My wedding is 8/14, and we are unsure if they will be optional or required but I am hoping optional. 🤞🙏🏼

I went to a wedding recently that required masks a few weeks ago. We still had a good time and didn't need to wear it unless we were walking around the venue or talking to others outside of our table. While it would be more preferable not to wear a mask, it was worth the precaution. We plan to have our guests wear masks to our August micro wedding also. It's not a huge sacrifice for the people that want to be there on your special day.

I havent Been To one But Masks Will be Required At My Wedding In October. So I Bought Masks In Bulk For Everyone. I Hate The Idea Of Masks In Photos Though So That Is Something I Will Have To Find A Way Around

August bride here. My venue is requiring guests to wear masks upon entering however once inside (since we have the entire floor and ballroom to us) we were told they would not enforce it and guests are free to wear it or not to their comfort level. Dancing is allowed and up to each guest if they choose to.

An August NY bride here and I am planning an intimate wedding and reception with 25 people. I just wanted to get some input on navigating a safe event with masks

I haven't been to one (I was hoping there would be more comments from people who had) but I am having a small, masks-required, wedding next month. I made masks for everyone so they'll match our wedding colors and hopefully not be too depressing in the pictures. We're going to ask everyone to keep their masks on unless they're sitting at their (socially distanced, seated by household) tables. I live in MA and masks have been required in public for almost 3 months, so I'm not expecting it to be a problem.
