Weddings in the 5 boroughs

Jessa, on October 10, 2020 at 10:15 AM Posted in New York Planning 0 2
Can anyone tell me what their headcount is allowed to be for a wedding in the 5 boroughs of New York. I know it’s 25% capacity but is that 25% of their room or still 50 people maximum.
Thanks Smiley smile

From what I understand, that's meant as BOTH.

As in, 25% capacity, UP TO 50 people.

So, if you want 50 people, you need to be someplace where the capacity is 200. (Or more, if you include vendors.) If the venue's capacity is 100, then your max is 25.

However, it's best to speak to your venue.

Exactly what Rebecca said! It's 25% venue capacity up to 50 people!! So 50 is the absolute max, but you still have to make sure that 50 is only 25% of less of your venue's full capacity!
