It should start with the ceremony and then end with some sort of reception. The specifics are really up the to couple. The reception can be an elaborate multi-course plates meal in a grand ballroom or cake and punch in a church meeting space. Usually there is a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception to allow for the bridal party to take pictures while the guests are entertained.

Ypu can honestly make it however you want. This is an example of our timeline:
1:30 pm Ceremony music starts
2 pm Ceremony start
2:30 Ceremony end2:30-4 Pictures4 pm Cocktail hour5 pm Dinner6-6:30 pm Music starts10 pm Done!

Also be mindful when creating a timeline of what works best for you and the people you know.

e.g, not every reception has time allotted for dancing if you're just not dancing types. but there are some that allot more time for dancing, etc.
