Wedding with less than 30 people

Akrati, on July 11, 2018 at 5:17 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5
Me and my fiancé not a native to the US. I am having a wedding in December. We only know a very few people here and as I was compiling the guest list, we have around 25 people excluding family members (around 10 in total). I do fb wantbto go for a court marriage and want to have a proper wedding and have fun. But I am thinking - are 25 people ( don't know how many will show up) worth Gljnv through all the planning and everything. Has any one of you had or are having wedding this small. What are some of the ideas that you are using to make it fun.

If you want a wedding, you should still definitely have one! Maybe in a park, backyard, or barn setting to keep the costs low and not make a bigger venue look empty?

Thank you. I did not think of that. It really helps. how can I make things fun so that no one gets bored. My biggest fear is boredom.

My wedding will have 9 guests. It's worth planning if you think it's worth celebrating with people who love you.

We just had our wedding on June 22nd with 24 total in attendance including us, and it was an absolute blast. We did a fairly typical reception with open bar, dinner, DJ, and then did smores at the end of the night. Everyone was talking, laughing, having fun, and there was plenty of dancing, which I didn't think there would be. If your group gets along well, and everyone is happy to celebrate you as a couple it will be a wonderful time no matter how small.

I would say look into your local VFW or fire halls. They have lovely banquet rooms where you can hold your reception. And it's affordable.
