Wedding Wire Invitations - How to Send

I'm not sure you can send your invitations through this site.

I think you can still mark this - or at least I was able to last night. I could mark attending, pending, etc. Let me know if you need help. But, I contacted support about sending the invitation and they said that option is down right now -_-

Did you ever figure out the problem. I am having the same problem now. Seem like Nov to April is a long time to have the option down

Hi Betty! So the problem actually went away after I want to say a few weeks. I contacted the customer service and they said they were having an issue and could not tell me how long it would take. But it did take a few weeks. After that time it was fine for at least a few months. I also noticed last week that the functionality went away to send the online invitation. My assumption is that it will be fixed in a week or so. Luckily I had already sent out most of my invitations but there were a few more people I needed to add or a few people who never received. Last week I just sent them the link and had them RSVP on the site. Hopefully it gets fixed soon so you can send out your invitations!!

So basically, if you want to send out invitations now through wedding wire, I guess your only option is to provide them with the link and have them find their RSVP. But that would require you to reach out to them first. Or maybe wait a few weeks. Best of luck!!

Hello, I'm having trouble sending anything. I tried doing it through the request RSVP link, but it stays grey-ed out (not able to click) once we filled in the information. Can you please let us know when this is up and running again? Thank you!

Are we able to send the invite now? ...... one month after ...half an year after the first found

Hi Eric. I am not sure if they changed their website or not but I no longer even see an option to email the invitation. Before, there was a button on the top left hand corner and when you clicked on it, you could see the email option was not working BUT, not it is not even there! I have no clue.. but I am about 1 month out from my wedding so if someone asks me for information or to email them the invite again, I just send them the link... since that is all I can do now. I think if you want to use wedding wire for invitations, I would recommend using a different site unless you are routing everyone to the website. But you would need to email them or send them another invitation to provide them with the link which is a bit of work.

I was able to send invites a few months ago but now the feature is no longer there. When will it be back?

Our Development Team is working on an issue site wide within the Online Invitations feature, so it has been disabled while they work on it. We do not have a timeline for the issue!

Is there any update to this? I am very dissapointed that I might have wasted time using your site to build a guest list when I cant even invite folks using thier contact info I populated for them.

If it helps and you already populated the site, a way I found around it was to make a wedding invite on another program like Paperless Post. From there, on that invite you create a hyperlink to RSVP (quite easy to do), and direct it to the RSVP page of your wedding website. Then it works as if you sent it from there, they can RSVP, put in dietary requirements, feeds into your seating chart and so forth. Obviously would be preferable if they fixed it, but seems like it's been months, so second option is what I am doing!
