Dedicated November 2019

Wedding Week

Hey Ladies,
ITS WEDDING WEEK!!! I can’t wait to marry the man of my dreams after 8 years together on Saturday! My girls are getting in tomorrow, doing my bachelorette party tomorrow! Rehearsal on Friday! My problem is there has been SO much drama and hurt from FHs parents (who are divorced) throughout this whole process, but it has gotten really bad this week. Like literally so much drama and hurt that I’ve been crying, super anxious and very overwhelmed this week, and am having a hard time getting out of that negative mindset! I know I should be super happy and that at the end of the day, me and my fiancé will be married and that is enough! I just don’t want to keep dwelling on all the stress and anxiety coming from his parents! Any advice?

Is the drama toward you or toward each other?

Awww I’m sorry you have to go through this especially with such an important week!! I know it’s easier said than done but just try your best to enjoy this week, maybe when your girls arrive they will help you loosen up and just be selfish and think about you and your FH... good luck and remember enjoy your week!! Congratulations 🍾

My mom will have two ex husbands she hates at my wedding and my fiancé’s dad decided not to even come because of his mom. Plus my grandparents are divorced and hate each other too. Everyone has assigned seats away from each other and besides than that I’m having nothing to do with any arguments they get into (although hopefully they’ll just stay away from each other). Im not letting anything get in the way of enjoying my day.

Just try to focus on you and your FH. Your girls will be here soon and have fun things planned to take your mind off of the drama. Relax and have fun.

I’m sorry. Hopefully he won’t, but he’s only going to make himself look like an idiot.

Wow, that's incredibly selfish of him. :/ I'm so sorry. Is there a way you could warn your bridal party and have them on the lookout?

How will she have TWO ex husbands she hates? I could understand if one is your dad, but who is the other one?

She’s been married 3 times and I never met the first one but the 3rd one is my stepdad who has been around since I was 6 and even though they’re not together I still see him as a second father.

I'm sorry! I would have FH tell them that if they can't act like the grown adults they are for one day, that they could be removed from the reception! It's crazy that adults can't put things aside for 24 hours for their children. Just try your best to enjoy the exciting week! Smiley smile
