Wedding website??

Raye, on September 29, 2018 at 8:20 PM Posted in Planning 0 7
Just trying to gauge people's experience with wedding websites. Is it worth the work, I k ow you can use a free site, but I'm more wondering if you've used them or are using one are your guests finding it useful and using it?

I made mine on here! The guests that I’ve shown have loved it! I’m also going to have them RSVP here as well so that will be handy.

I have a wedding website with "WithJOY". It's really good. And useful to post pictures, tell you and your FS's story, provide hotel info, show who's in your wedding party, menu options, etc. It's especially good if you're having a large wedding as well. An invitation can only hold so much information. A wedding website is great so that you don't have to call or message everyone if they have a question. They can just find the answer on your website. I would say it's worth it unless you're having an extremely small, intimate wedding. In that case, you could probably get away with just the invitations and FB/Texts/Emails for any additional questions.

I use the knot four this part. The website is super helpful because most all of our guests are from out of town. I am putting any information they might need right there in one place.

The website took me like 30 minutes to put together. It is super basic but that is all it needs to be. I used the Weddingwire one. So even if only a handful of guests use it, I didn't spend a ton of time working on it so I don't feel bad.

We used the website builder on here, and it was insanely easy and ridiculously helpful. I had SO MANY people "lose" their RSVP Cards, so having that as a backup option was vital. It was also really nice to have a place where everyone could get the info, reserve their hotels and make their travel plans without having to call us constantly. Having the website was 100% worth the few minutes of work it took to throw it up.

I created one with WeddingWire and it’s so helpful. You can customize it and word things how you want. Our guests will be able to rsvp on the site, choose their dinner option, and we have our room block information on there too.

100% worth it, esp if you have any out of town guests. Mine was visited over 500 times! Everyone said it was amazing and so organized.
