Wedding Website

Hey Everyone I was trying to make my Wedding Website and I’m have some technical issues with it. I picked a template and there is only certain things that can be changed but the template itself has changed colors. Is thing a common issue? Is there anything I can do to avoid these? Or any advice on how to fix it? Thanks 😊

    I am having an issue with the colors too. The background just automatically switched to black in the past couple of days. It used to have a light color background with dark writing so now it’s hard for my guests to read the font because it has changed without me altering my website at all. I think it’s a glitch because i have also tried resetting to default template and i have even tried different templates and they all came out with a black background with black writing. Smiley sad I have had this website for a few months and this is the first time I’ve had this issue.

    Yes it must be a glitch, I’ve redone my website a couple of times and nothing. I noticed it does it with the light colored templates. I reached out to customer support and waiting on their response. It may be a good idea to reach out as well so they can get your site fixed too 🙂

    They responded very quickly and apparently we aren’t alone in this. As of now, they’re working on resolving the issue. Take a screenshot or photo of the problem, they may ask. Best of luck 😁

    Yes, I'm having this issue too! It happened in the past few days which is so annoying as our website is about to be available to all our guests and the black screen is so annoying! Hopefully they fix it soon. It must be a coding issue on their end since it seems to be happening to everyone.

    I just printed out my save the dates with our custom URL through Wedding Wire and had this same black background issue happen to me Smiley sad We're supposed to send them out this week, now I'm freaking out because all this work I did looks awful. I reached out to the help team, I hope they can figure this out soon.

    Okay I know this isn't a great solution but.... I used the website editor on my phone and tested out a bunch of the different designs and SOME of them don't have the black background when you change them on the phone editor (they still do when I tried to edit it on the computer).

    I changed my design to one without the black background, and while it isn't the design I wanted, it's better than having my guests look at my website and not be able to read it with the horrible black background design that it had before!

    I reached out them last week and they said they are aware of the issue, trying to figure out the cause and how to fix it. Super frustrating it's not fixed yet. My guests are receiving the save the dates and I'm so embarrassed to have them looking at the website lol
