How early did y’all make your wedding website “visible”? I’m not quite finished. I want to add wedding party pictures and then I’m all done.

I've always had mine visible but I just don't give my link to anyone unless I know them and they want to see my progress or if I send it to someone because I want their opinion. I plan on having our site link on our save the dates which we will be sending out mid January.

I'm literally just waiting to post our engagement photos on there which we'll be taking mid December and according to our photographer, we should have our photos by the time we send out our save the dates.

Ok good to know! We’re sending our save the dates in January too. We received our engagement pictures a couple weeks ago.

I know my family is anxious to see it, but then some of my family will not receive invites and I don’t want to cause any unnecessary drama.

We're going to make ours visible as soon as we have our hotel blocks booked (hopefully in the next couple of weeks), which will be right before our save the dates go out in early November. So 10-11 months out for us!

Also, you can password-protect most wedding websites if you're worried about people who aren't invited looking at your website!

Oh man lol. That's what I'm hoping doesn't happen with me cause I'm a Worry Wendy for real. Like it's said, we are our own worst enemy/critic. You even said they look good so I'm sure no one else even notices the stress on your face lol

LOL! Same! Exactly! I’m so hard on myself. After it was over, I was upset that I worried as much as I did LOL no ones noticed because my mom & his mom couldn’t tell! 😂

We made ours visible when we sent out the save the dates since we included the link on there. And as a result we’ve already gotten a few items off our registry - nice to get those thank-you’s done early! Smiley smile

Mine was visible pretty much from the start. Then again, I didn't add pictures or bridal party info or anything. All I had were ceremony/reception info, hotel block, shuttle, and registry. I'm also pretty sure that 95% of guests never visited it given all the questions I got that could be answered by reading the website.

My website is also through Zola! You go to "Account" in the top right corner, "Privacy" under "Your Settings" using the left menu, and then select "Do you want your wedding website password protected?"

We made ours visible as soon as the save the dates went out last week since the link is on the magnets. I just wish there was a counter on the website to show how many times it had been viewed.

Well I hope everyone looks at it! Lol we’re getting married in New Orleans & none of us live there so I thought a wedding website would keep things in order for the most part. 😂

Lol it worked! So now I can get my mom & sister to look at it and ask if they have any suggestions.

I finished ours in about 2 days, so right away basically. It went visible 14 months out.
