Wedding website with save the dates?

Kenia, on December 7, 2020 at 6:49 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6
Hello,
I’m so excited for my wedding. I’m not very cultured in wedding etiquette. I’ve ordered my save the dates already. It did not have a spot for my wedding website. Should I make little enclosure cards with my website? Or does wedding website go with formal invitations? Thanks you for answering!

The link to your website is normally included on the save the date. My husband and I forgot to include the link so we created an insert that we included in the envelopes with the save the dates. Invites normally don't get mailed out until 8-6 weeks prior to the wedding so we wanted everyone to have our website info prior to that. We just didn't think about until after we created our save the dates and received them in the mail.

We included them on our save the date, so I think that sending an enclosure card with your save the date would be fine.

Typically the website is listed at the bottom of the save the date. The only time the website is mentioned in the formal invites is when it is used to collect replies. Such as a service like rsvpify.com which can be added to your wedding website

We put our wedding website on our save the date. If you did not have room, I would include a separate card with the website info. Your website should not go on your formal invitation.

Like everyone else said above, add the wedding website onto an enclosure card to mail with the STDs!

We're adding our website onto the back of our invitations underneath a picture of us. It just says that if our guests need more information on directions, accommodations, and to rsvp, to visit our website

That really depends on what you prefer. Some people put them on their save the dates, but others might include them on a "Details" insert that's included with the formal invitations, like you can see here: https://www.magnetstreet.com/wedding-stationery-timeline

If you decide to do them with your invitations, then you should definitely do them on a separate insert and not the invitation itself.
