Wedding Website - What Should i Include?

Mandi, on June 28, 2019 at 2:40 PM Posted in Planning 0 5
Alright, maybe I should have my wedding website up and running. We are sending out our the dates soon. And people might want to see registry information. (We are having a housewarming party very soon.) I also have an address book collection thingy on there as well.

So far I have a few engagement photos. (Only the ones I have released.)
Registry info.
And the address collection thingy.
The only other info is our names and our date.
I'll add all the other fun stuff later, but is it totally strange to have minimal info?

I just don't want to shove everything out into the world immediately.

I want to add our wedding party, and location information and an RSVP function later. But I'm not ready to do that yet.

I'm probably overthinking this, but at this point, that's my specialty!

I think it's ok to have minimal info
In fact it might be better. Mine was kind of info overload and some people genuinely look through it but most people don't really look through it.
You can enable RSVP online if you want and if you have out of town guests it would be nice to have a little info on hotels and stuff for them

Thanks! I'm still debating doing a hotel block. Once we sit down to compile our final list before we send out save the dates and figure out exactly how many out of town guests we are going to possibly have, I'll call a hotel if necessary. And add that info.

I would think you should add at least one fun thing for people to read after receiving their save the dates. Like an about us, how we met or meet the wedding party. You don't have to have it all up yet, but just one thing for people to be excited to read when they visit after getting save the dates!

Thanks! I kinda want to add the wedding party... but at the same time, I'm also trying to convince the fiance to add a third usher. His 19 year old brother is way too flakey for my preferences.
