Wedding Website rsvp

Kristin, on February 23, 2021 at 8:22 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

I am working on our wedding website and I've run into an issue regarding families and RSVP'ing. My FH will be inviting some work people and there are a couple instances where he does not know all of the kids' names. How would we handle this for the website? On the actual invitation we will be addressing it to MR. and Mrs. and family. However on the website we are afraid of just putting "guest" for this and want some way to indicate this spot is reserved for their children.

We are using Zola for our website/RSVP. For families with kids, you can literally "add child" to the family and it will show up under the the family in the RSVP tab. I would have him try to get the kid's names! If push comes to shove, do some Facebook stalking on your own and try to find out their names LOL, I wouldn't want to just have 'child' under the parents name!

Most people have recommended either withjoy.com or wix.com as websites to use. Rsvpify.com has many great reviews on the forums that is suggested to use as a link or widget that takes care of everything.

On the envelope and website, make it clear that it for the kids. Rsvpify lets you determine who takes each spot. If there is any confusion, you contact guests to resolve it.

Hi Kristin! Is your wedding website through WeddingWire?

If so - you can make sure all the family members are linked by adding their spouse & children as 'related guests or a plus one': How to Indicate a 'Plus One' on your Guest List.

That way when your fiancé's co-workers search their own name to RSVP it will pull up all of the attached guests in their family!

Rsvpify.com allows you to personalize all the fields you need information from. It's used as a link on it's own or as a widget added to a Withjoy.com or wix.com site.
