Wedding website private?

Might be a silly question but i honestly can’t find the answer to my question either in the forum or by google search so I’m just going to ask. Are wedding websites private while you’re still building them? I made a “draft” website on WW just to see what it would look like/what designs there were and it says there have been 6 visitors already. I’m not even sure I want to use WW for my website yet, so I definitely don’t want this as a public, viewable page, while I’m just playing around with it. Is there some kind of “publish” button at the end of the building process, or do I just need to password protect it (which i wouldn’t want to do in the long run) while I’m figuring it out? Thanks!

You can make them private until you are ready. If you go into the settings section, you can make it so that people have to use a password to enter it or they have to use their email.

Exactly this. Any page that you make is public unless you make it password protected or unviewable.

Hi Holly! The wedding website is automatically public once you create it. If you click into each page in the 'Pages' tab of the wedding website editor, you will be able to choose the privacy setting for each page on the left side!

Also a note that if you are viewing the website when not from the preview button, that will count as a visit! So while the website may be live, you may be the one viewing it as well.

I am currently having this issue. I had no idea I had a wedding website until a friend of mine had mentioned it! I was so surprised! There should most definitely be a draft website until you hit a PUBLISH button yourself.
