Wedding Website - Our Story

How did you write your "Our Story" section on your website? Did you write it in 3rd person? I feel like that sounds weird (and kind of pretentious) but I also don't want it to sound like it's just coming from me. I also don't really like the idea of each of us writing our own, since it's the same story. Thoughts?

I did not have this section but I think approaching it from “we” sounds most natural.

We aren't doing a wedding website. They just feel a little cringy when reading through some of them, regardless of how honest and true they are. However, I'd agree with Cool. Have it from the "we" approach and write it together.

I did it in 3rd party. I don't love the ones in 1st party because it just sounds like one person writing it when it's supposed to be about both of you. I also asked for my FH's input so that it didn't just all get written by me, it actually was written by both of us.

We don’t feel the need to include the section but would write it as “we” if we did.

Most of it is in 3rd person as if a narrator is telling the guest how we met and our love story and then the last paragraph I did it in 1st person saying how “we” look forward to seeing everyone and saying I DO! It feels weird reading it but oh well! I like it and that’s that haha

We did 1st person from each of our POV and had 2 parts. I never thought on it long enough to think about if it showed up as weird or not. We ARE weird so I don't mind lol
