Wedding Website- "Our Story" Help

I've got a lot of our website done, but I'm having a hard time writing up "Our Story." What perspective did all of you write from? Should I write as myself? Or as if an outside narrator was telling the story? I'm not really the best writer- never have been. I tried asking for FHs input and as usual he goofed around the whole time. Shocker. Anyone willing to let me look on their website for some inspiration?! Also off that topic, FH was asking about where to put our registry info (like on invites) I told him it is on the website, and I will be putting the website on our STDs. Am I correct that registry info should NOT be on any invitations or STDs?

    My wedding shower hostesses sent out invitations speciffically for our wedding shower and included our registries there. Other then that our registry information is on our wedding website and I put the link for our website on both our STD and RSVP cards, I did not put them on our invitations

    I'm hesitating over the Our Story part as well, mostly over how much background to give on each of us. I think I'll keep it short and light, with a few descriptions of memorable dates. Mostly that part of the website is to introduce people to the half of the couple they may not know, not to rehash intimate details of your life together.

    I wrote mine as if an outside narrator was telling the story..but some parts you could definitely tell that I was the one that wrote it.

    I did three paragraphs for our story. How we met, when we started dating, and how he proposed. I wrote in the third person. "Ricky took Faith to Sweetheart Circle..."

    We did it in the style of "A Tale of Two Narratives" and had FH's version, and then my version. Both have heart, humor, and play off each other's stories.

    I skipped that part. Mostly because I'm lazy and if you don't know us by now, then you shouldnt be coming to our wedding.

    We did our relationship story from my perspective and our engagement story from his perspective. They were both pretty basic. The relationship story was basically just little details such as when we started dating, who said "I love you" first, moves we've made, pets we've gotten together.
