Wedding Website; necessary or not?

I definitely wouldn't call them a necessity, but we chose to do one anyway. Even if no one uses it, the only thing we're losing is an hour or so of our time setting it up.

It's not a necessity, but it is helpful. What sold me on having one is having an FAQ page for our guests. It's also a way to have your registry available to your guests without explicitly stating it on any invitation stationary

It's not necessary, but having a website is convenient because you can provide all of the information in one place for guests to look at. We included a FAQ page and our registry like Amber said. We also included hotel and airport information as most people were traveling to our wedding, how we met & our engagement story, a blurb about each person in our wedding including a photo of each person, photos throughout our relationship & engagement photos, things to do in town & restaurants, and details about our after party and Sunday breakfast. It made it nice for people to locate all of the information and I had fun putting it together.

I’m leaning towards not. No one has looked at mine lol. They ask me any questions.

this time nearly all of our guests are out of town so I think it will be a helpful place to relay information to a lot of people at once.

The more guests you have, the more useful a wedding website will be. I'll have 200+ guests, and I honestly do not want to deal with having with inquiries from that many people.

Definitely not a necessity. We have one because we’re having a destination wedding and want to have all the information easily accessible for our guests. Otherwise I doubt I would have made one.

Know-your-crowd applies here for sure! FH and I decided not to make one because we figured the majority of our guests wouldn't be interested in accessing it

We chose to do one because every guest is traveling and it has the hotel blocks, airports, etc. We've directed several people to it already and they all liked it.

Def not a necessity but will be extremely helpful! It will allow you to only include the pertinent information for the wedding but the website you can add some fun information like a back story on your relationship, some pictures, or even some places your guests can go and kill some time. Especially if they are traveling and staying in the hotel

It's not necessary aha. I do think it's nice to have though just for the simple purpose of having the info readily at hand
