Wedding Website Help!

Hi All -

I need wedding website inspiration! What examples did you use to create your website? Also, did anyone make their website password protected? Lastly, if you put your wedding website on your invites, how did you format it (separate card, at the bottom of the invite)? I don't want the invite to be cluttered.

We used WeddingWire for our website. Only the RSVP page was password protected. On our STD postcards, we provided the URL on the back. For the formal invites, we had a separate RSVP card with the URL and passcode (and an e-mail as an alternative method).

I did password protect my website and made it unsearchable on Google. I did add the URL and password to the invites but that was only for my electronic ones.

I put my wedding website on my save the dates and on an additional details card with the invite. I looked at lots of examples of websites on the internet but at the end of the day I just formatted it the way I liked. I used Zola which has really good templates. I chose not to password protect my site but it is not searchable. You have to have the exact URL to find it.

I customized a Wix website template, bought a custom Domain name, didn’t password protect it, and made it unsearchable in google.

For inspiration, I googled some wedding website inspiration and tried to creep on some real wedding websites to actually figure out what content to have on it.
