Wedding Website Disappeared!

Roxanne, on June 29, 2014 at 1:29 AM Posted in Planning 1 22

Our wedding website had been up for several weeks without issue. While attempting to add a registry to the website tonight, we got an error message and suddenly all of the content on the entire wedding website was deleted. This included pages we had not edited. Additionally, it became impossible to add any content. When adding a new section, the website would get stuck at "Loading."

Our content was not backed up and we are terrified that it has been lost for good. Please help us!

I've had issues where my rsvp wouldn't work but it worked the next day.

This happened a few weeks ago. I think they make updates in the middle of the night. I would wait until morning, if it still isn't there them you can start to worry.

It looks like the majority of our website content has been lost as well - Default stock photo and all of the information is gone. If anyone has some sort of update into what is going on, (or had this happen to them in the past), please let me know! We don't have a back up on the content, so I hope Wedding Wire does!!!! Please help us!

Yea, mine is not correct either, the pics and words are gone but the title and headings are still there. Of course someone is trying to RSVP at 6 am this morning and decides to call at that time as well. :/

Half of our content is gone too! And I stupidly did not save some of it elsewhere.... Smiley sad I had the same problem of it getting stuck "loading" when adding a section. I clicked out of the page (nothing had been edited) and when I came back, four pages were entirely missing their content. There doesn't seem to be any way to actually contact weddingwire.

Still down. Livid. My wedding is in 20 days. Sent a "contact us" email - says you'll get a confirmation of your question - haven't gotten that., or a response. I can't believe something like this can happen. I will be advising anyone I know that gets married NOT to use WW for their wedding website. Now I'm extremely worried all my guest info/seating plans, etc is going to disappear too!!

It'll probably be fixed tomorrow - I don't think they work on the weekends.

I'm getting the 500 internal server error and blank website as well.

Just sent out my invites too so I'm kinda nervous/worried about this. Hope they fix it soon.

I emailed the support address that Jet listed and the auto-response was that staff members are available Mon-Fri 9am-6pm EST. Hopefully they'll look into it first thing tomorrow morning.

I am so sorry you all are unable to view or access your wedding websites right now!

Unfortunately our server started experiencing some caching issues late last night.

Our development team is aware of the error and are working to fix this right away! Until then you might receive an error message when viewing the site within your account or the account may appear without your custom photos and content when viewing the site publicly. However please note your content has NOT been deleted, it will all be restored as soon as the server is running normally.

I will let you all know once the issue has been completely resolved.

Whole sections of our wedding website are missing! We sent out our invitations last week, and people need to see where they can stay, and how to get to our venue! I emailed the support address, and still haven't gotten a confirmation or response. This has to be fixed IMMEDIATELY.

All of my content is gone, as well. I hope this gets fixed immediately! I've already gotten three calls from guests needing hotel info.

Update- our IT Department was able to fix the server issue. We will continue monitoring the server and site throughout the day in case similar glitches occur.

Your wedding websites should now be accessible both within your account and via the public view. Thank you for your understanding and patience Smiley smile
