Wedding Website Custom Domain Issues

Hi all,

Can someone help me with a wedding website domain issue? My original custom domain expired because we had to push the wedding back, but WeddingWire charged me an additional $24 to renew it. Because the domain already expired in the system it does not work. When I first contacted Wedding Wire they said I could put the renewal charge toward a new custom domain, but the system won't let me change anything. I have contacted WeddingWire three times now and have not heard back. What do I do? I need to get the updated domain to put on my invites and mail them ASAP!

We apologize for the issue with your custom domain. Our Development Team is aware of this issue and working to rectify this issue as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, we do not have a fix for this issue yet but our Support team will reach out once a fix has been sent out for this issue. Again I apologize for the inconvenience.

My daughter and son in law are so upset! They too lost all their data they created in March to develop their site due to an upgrade by weddingwire. No assistance from weddingwire or way to retrieve their lovely story, information on registries venue etc already created after several hours of work. Terrible service. Will not use them again when we have to "rebuild" As Mother of the Bride it is a stress for the bride and groom that is not acceptable or necessary. Shame on WeddingWire. Let me know if you get anything accomplished or retrieved. Congratulations on your pending nuptials and God Bless your marriage for a lifetime.
