Wedding was supposed to be 4/3/20 - legally married

Alexa, on July 20, 2020 at 9:01 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 4
My husband and I got married because we had to have a marriage license before going to Mexico and having our wedding. Due to COVID our wedding was cancelled. Most of our friends and family know. Am I still entitled to have a ceremony and reception? We only did it bc we had to bc of Mexico.

You can absolutely still have a ceremony and reception. It would just be a vow renewal since you are already married. Congratulations!

You can absolutely still plan a wedding celebration Alexa!! Smiley heart Tons of couples whose weddings have been affected by Covid-19 are doing just that - getting legally married in a private or intimate ceremony now, and planning a unity ceremony or vow renewal with their postponed reception later!
