Wedding Venue on a budget?

Alyssa, on February 11, 2019 at 12:32 PM Posted in Maryland Planning 0 12
Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a wedding venue around Maryland/Pennsylvania. The highest I’m willing to spend would be around $6,000. Everything seems so darn expensive Smiley sad. Does anyone know of any places around MD/PA that are in that price range?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Are you looking for all inclusive or just a venue? I’m a MD bride and I have toured a few places that could possibly fit your budget. Check out Martins Caterers, Morningside Inn, and Cortland Mansion.

I would look at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis. It's right on the water and the facility is gorgeous!

I'm doing a garden wedding at Gramercy Mansion in Greenspring Valley. They have two locations on site, both with great outdoor and indoor options at $2500 and $55000. The location is super close to major highways which is great if you have guests coming from both MD and PA. Hope this helps!

    Hi,

We're getting married at the Accelerator Space in Baltimore MD and it's $5K for 3 different spaces. Good luck!

Also try Seasons At Magnolia Manor. It has gardens, reception hall, balcony, manor with front porch. It’s very reasonable and gorgeous

I looked at Accelerator space and am still considering - how was your tour!? I thought it may be too large for my small guest list of 140 (unless you think it'll work!). Also, how's parking?

I loved our tour; the manager is super nice and very laid back! Our guest list is 120 but we love to dance so we wanted that extra party space. 140 is a great size for that venue because the outside patio only holds about 140 I believe (for like a cocktail hour). They do require you to use a caterer from the "preferred list" so do your research and see if any fit within your budget first before checking it out. Oh and with parking, they have 2 lots right across from the building that they own but they also require you to have valet service since it's such a small street. You'll have to pick from 2 of their preferred vendors as well.
