With the whole Covid-19 scare, I really put off planning for my wedding in October. I just wasn't feeling confident in my decisions and how everything was working out. After talking with my mom we both decided to stick to our date and our guest list of 30. About 3 weeks ago, I dropped off some lace and some tulle to a seamstress to make in the veil that I had been dreaming about since I got engaged last May. Its so perfect and I think might have reignited my want to keep planning.

    I picked out the lace because of the detailing in the dress that I wanted to mimic. I've always wanted a black dress but my mom basically put her foot down so we compromised with dark blue lace. After everything was bought and put together the cost was under 100 dollars.

    So, "haunted fairy tale garden", I rented farmhouse tables and have been thrift store shopping for about 3 months now looking for glassware and accessories for our dinner. I'm having it at my moms house and with only 30 people we've saved a lot on the cost that way. There are a lot of natural flowers and I've DIY'd a lot of our decorations. I made our invites myself, made "potion bottles" out of baby food jars, candle holders from plumbing pipes and signs to show our meaningful fantasy locations.

    We are having cupcakes and a cutting cake that will be overgrown with flowers. Our baker is making a bunch of sugar flowers for our "garden" cake.
