Wedding Veil...?

Hello Ladies,
I know there's a lot of people going without veils recently, but I personally am not sure if I want one. My sister got married back in June and she didn't wear one. I think their a beautiful part of tieing in with the dress. My mom wore a veil for her wedding but didn't cover her face with the initial layer of the veil. Is anyone wearing a veil? If you are will you be wearing it in a traditional manner?

    I am wearing a veil, but no blusher. I debated at first, but eventually realized that this is the only time I’ll ever have the opportunity to wear one. I would recommend trying one on with your dress if you’re unsure, it made me feel very bridal.

    I didn't wear one. I wore a headband. A veil just didn't look good on me

    Same, I’ve got a veil but no blusher. I didn’t think I wanted one until they put one on me during my dress fitting and I just loved the look.

    I bought a beautiful 2 teir cathedral length veil but I didn't wear it for our ceremony. I tried it on before hand but it just didn't feel right. I did however bring it for pictures! I bought mine from amazon for $22.

    Originally I wanted a cape, but capes are kind of hard to find and tend to be more expensive so a veil is the next best thing. Plus I tried one on and it looks good on me with an updo. I have one that's a cathedral length with an elbow length second layer; I haven't decided if I'll just let it be layered or do a blusher.

    I was never sure if I wanted one, but I think I will. I tried on a simple one tier no blusher with lace appliqués and I think that’s what I’m going to go with

    I’m definitely wearing a veil..hopefully cathedral length. As others have said, the wedding day is pretty much the only opportunity to wear a veil. I’m planning to wear the blusher down the aisle, and have my father pull the veil back once I get to my FH because I don’t want my face covered for the entire ceremony.
